Dirt track, girlfriends & of course, cards!

Date night with Jeff last Saturday night....
Lincoln Speedway!
I love stuff like this, and am so blessed that Jeff
takes me whenever we can go. We were happily suprised to find out our favorite Nascar drive, Tony Stewart was racing there that night! So neat! However, date nights are over. Job is wrapping up and they are working until 10 or 11 p.m. every night.I am happy to have had them while they lasted!

I was also blessed to spend a tuesday with my sons girlfriend, Sarah, getting to know her. We went to the lake at Codorus state park and rented a canoe. Then we went for a 4 mile walk on the battlefields and stopped for ice cream. What a great girl she is, and so much fun to spend time with. This tuesday we did some shopping, went out for lunch, and met some friends for more shopping and then Starbucks! I'm so blessed to have such good Christian friends I can spend time with. It has been nice having someone to talk to face to face...lol.

Here is a card I made for the Sweet N Sassy "Say it with scripture" Wednesday challenge. This is a SNS scripture stamp. I do like using scripture on my cards whenever I can. Ladies I've met here in Gettysburg have been taking me out for lunch and planning get to gethers before I leave. So between that and the hot temperatures...I've not had much time to make cards..

Here are a couple birthday cards I made. I'm a little behind with the birthday cards for our church members and now I have an order for 6 cards. Praise the Lord the weather is cooler this week so I can actually work on cards.
The dining room furniture we ordered from an Amish furniture maker in Lancaster is done! They called today. My dad is coming out to pick it up and take it to our house. I can't wait to see how it looks in the new kitchen! God is so good to me.
My daughter is coming out for a couple of days this weekend. I can't wait to see her. I miss her so much, and I know she misses us! It will be so nice to spend time with her and hug her!
We are in Gettysburg for a few more weeks and then head home for a couple. Anxious to see family and friends and catch up.
Have a great weekend everyone!
I love you, Mom!
