Family, Friends & Fun!

Here is a card I made just before they arrived. I knew I wouldn't have time once they were here!
Chey and I had some time alone early in the week. We visited some historical homes in Lexington, including the Mary Lincoln Todd house. I love spending time with her, and these are things no one else in our family would want to do.....

Train ride....or "Whoo, whoo", as Colton would say.

Eric & Sarah suprised me by showing up Saturday night and staying until Monday afternoon. Was very happy to see them. Colton is his buddy. He was showing him big, noisy trucks on his laptop. Colton could sit there forever with him. He spent Monday morning on Eric's lap in the rocking chair on the porch....while I was in the shower and all the girls were still sleeping. He loves him so much!
Getting ready for church Sunday morning, trying to squeeze everyone in for a photo. After Sunday morning services, lunch at the Hibachi place, then home. Naps for everyone except Colton & I.  He fell asleep on the way to Sunday evening services, and woke up as we were leaving. He said "Church?" and I said yes, he said "Me?" I said yes, he said "Awwww".  Pouting face like he was sad he missed church. So swe

A group shot at Lincoln's boyhood home. We had the park ranger take this, and I guess she didn't notice David's face couldn't be seen....lol.

Spent all day Friday on Lake Herrington. Rented a pontoon boat and a tube. It was so much fun! Also very relaxing. I could get used to that...lol!
Monday we drove to the Newport Aquarium. Colton was fasinated by the clear floor where he could see the fish swimming under him. He looks so serious here with Jeff.
Eric & Sarah left from here to drive back to WV, and we picked up 100 wings and headed home.
Fun evenings just fellowshipping and laughing so hard. Colton left this morning at 11, and it just seems too quiet here now.
Praise the Lord for blessing us with wonderful friends, family, time and finances to be able to do so many fun things.
I'm a little tired, but it was worth it!
Should be making cards again starting Thursday. I can't wait to use some of the new stamps, paper and twine my super friend, Sandy, mailed to me! Yippee!
